Steven M. Boudreaux, PE, Managing Principal
Mr. Boudreaux, one of the founding principals of ABMB,
is
responsible for managing the firm’s structural and
site development projects, setting guidelines for design
and
plan preparation, and monitoring the company-wide
quality
control program.
As a structural engineer, Mr. Boudreaux has overseen
master
plan studies involving structure-type comparisons, studies
of pier locations, and feasibility studies. He has
also been
responsible for preliminary and final plan
preparation, as
well
as specifications and cost estimates
for a wide range
of
projects including grade separations,
ramp structures,
multi-level interchanges, stream and river crossings, and
railroad crossings of various types. Additionally, he has
worked as project liaison with state and federal review agencies.
Mr. Boudreaux’s site development work encompasses
everything from site selection to flood plain mitigation
and storm water management. His projects include the DeSoto
Park, the Baton Rouge General, Bluebonnet Campus expansion,
Woodlawn High School, and Northeast Middle School and High
School.
In addition to these activities, Mr. Boudreaux is the vice
chair of the Legislative Committee of the Louisiana Engineering
Society, an active member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club,
and a deacon of his church.
