Breaking ground on the new project

Performed the design study and plan development for improvements to two miles of urban roadway and accompanying sanitary sewer systems

ABMB performed the design study and plan development for improvements to two miles of urban roadway and accompanying sanitary sewer systems on Staring Lane, from Highland Road to Perkins Road in East Baton Rouge Parish.

ABMB’s recommendations for the improvements were evaluated and approved for design: increases to 36 inches in diameter and 65 inches in diameter sewer force main, upgrading a pump station to 40 MGD, and design of a new force main for a separate pump station to increase to 90 MGD.

For the roadway, ABMB provided the design and plan development for a new four-lane urban boulevard with a 30-foot median, including subsurface drainage, sidewalks and traffic signals. Also in coordination with this effort, ABMB is handling the design of two bridges as part of the overall development of the project.
